The scene is set: Tippins pond historical house shining white in the sun; door wide open welcoming newcomers; sign dangling from the roof of the porch announcing to the world, "ART SHOW TODAY: 2pm-4pm". The clock reads 2:45pm as we pull up next to the house, I step over the threshold and walk over to the side of the room, portfolio in hand, to hang the rest of my work. That's right boys and girls, I didn't even have all my work hung until halfway through the show. That was all fine well and good until I turned around and stood thunderstruck at what lay before my eyes, making me wish I left the rest of my work at home. I see in front of me the art of the Cherry Hill West kids, in all of it's awesome glory. They have amazing everything from charcoal to paintings to photography to pastel chalk. It was like walking into an actual art gallery, and all the kids were artsy and cool. I'll be honest, if I ever have to contend with West, I'll be the first tuck tail and run...
